The Things That I've Learned in Computer Graphics

1. The number one that i've learned in the subject Computer Graphics is to have a book or to read a book about the principles of graphics. You can have many ideas if you read something about computer graphics, like color theory or something about the terms.

2. Photoshop Techniques. Well this is important to me, as a practitioner for this profession  have to know what are behind some designs or something about the concept in designing.

3. Rasterbator. In this technique, you can have a big poster that creates an illusion that the image on it is a big. An illusion that the poster is expensive but actually small in price.

4. Computer Technical Terms. The 64 bit or 32 bit graphics terms, i learned so much about it, like the right RAM on your computer, or in general the requirements of the computer on the applications you are using.

5. Web Design Techniques. Actually i am absent when our instructor taught this but in other days that our instructor taught us, the principles in the way on how the web design formulate .

Blog 5: Multimedia Artists of LPU'Philippines

When i was only in highschool days i started to think that what course would i want to. I prefer to myself a Computer Engineering course. When i was about to graduate. My parents told me that i won't be able to study in college. I was so sad but it's ok we have no money to enroll me in a college school. When it was summer vacation i started to think that i should have a job instead of nothing. So i started to find a job. When i was finding a job, I saw a school that offers job and schooling, so it's like a working student offer, then i grabbed it. Finally, 2 years later i graduated. But i wasn't satisfied with what i finished.

When my sister got a job, i tell her that i want to study again. I found out that their is a good course and has in-demand jobs in the future if you graduated to this course. So i checked out what it is. The course named A.B. Multimedia Arts in Lyceum of the Philippines University. I ask myself, what do i know about arts? I didn't know how to draw or make something that talks about art. Then,as my mind is bugling i search again what are the possible curriculum for this subject. I found out that this course contains about photography and uses Adobe application softwares. I want to know how to use applications like Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Flash. So i started to think that this course can fit on whatever i need to learn.

Finally i enrolled to this course. There are few students and i knew that this course has begun 1 year ago. At first they tought us what are the basics like, art history. We are few only in our class from about 20 students. It is not so hard to get friends with my classmates. They are kind and good. And i knew that they are the one who i be with in the following 4 years.

 I survived at my first year! And now its my second year to this course. Many students enrolled in our course. I am so shocked that they are so many. Well, i wish them good luck in the following years. Organization in our course is build and this is good because team building has an important role in all of us. I know that this course will getting bigger and bigger as the years go by. I hope that many will not shift to other course because A.B. Multimedia Arts is the best course for this generation.

Blog 4: Opinion About Multimedia Course Here in Philippines

    Talent. A gift from God we should cherish and enhance. Art-making is
always in our head. Being creative and imaginative is one of the best talent
that i think is the best. Well, when i study A.B. Multimedia Arts in Lyceum
Philippines Laguna, being creative is hard for me especially i always think
technically. So i stared to wonder, is this the filled that i want to? or is
this the filled i would enjoy too? Then i stop and think. Realize that the
time can answer that question.

    Computer, application software and Internet are the first things you
must have before you put-up a design. The papers and a pen i think has some
part. But, what if you apply that in the three things i mentioned? I think it
goes.

    Many Filipinos are very good in drawings, illustrations, nor for the
major work "Art-making". Why our government not prioritizing this filled? They
always talks about politics and something does not have sense. Many graduates
of I.T (Information Technology) and some courses about multimedia wants to
work abroad. It's because great opportunities are waiting across our country.
We know all of us needs money. Imagine, working abroad without the presence
your family?

    Multimedia Arts must enhance, grow and prioritize.

Blog 3: Who Is Me Today

    As we grow old, some people observe changes in ourselves. It is great if this changes are positive but we cannot set this changes perfectly. Carefully having changes on ourselves like traits, the way we dress and even having different friends must tolerate properly. Advise from our parents is important. They know what is right to us and they know us much more. As the time goes by, the culture evolves too. Filipnos are famous in different cultures and traits. So, all of us know about what and who are filipinos.

    I like to share whatever i know in terms of anything. Like what i know about the computer technology, what they want to learn about different computer applications, my experiences about college life or how to make friends to somebody. I notice myself that my attitude in our school and my attitude to our school is differrent. I think, because the age of my friends to our school is different compared to the age of my friends in our place. My friends here in our home are more matured than my friends in our school. So, the advantage of this is that they have more experiences on how to have friends or livein life.

    My life today is great. My siblings and my parents are always have supporting what ever i do. Thanks to them and also to our God.

Blog 2: Turning to Adobe Bridge

    File management is one of the most important thing to understand if you have a very large files. Finding a file in a short time is great. You must organize it properly and maintain it regularly. As a student of Multimedia Arts, a practice for organizing my files is a very important. I don't know what the professional world will do to me. So, as the time goes by to professional world, i must practice what i think that can help me when i am in a professional world. One of the basics that i can help myself build professionality is practicing my files to organize.

    Adobe Bridge is an application used to manage files easily. As i surf the web, i knew that professionals also use this application to organize their files easily. Adobe bridge also connects some Adobe applications like Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator. At first, when a saw this application i think it couldnot help me organize my files. But when i knew that it specializes Adobe applications i started to use and practice this kind of file manager. Now,instead of using my old file explorer, i use Adobe Bridge and it's great that i organized my files well.

    One of the best features of Adobe Bridge is the Smart Collections. Imagine, you can find the file that you want by just one-click. Adobe Bridge has many capabilities and functions unlike the other file explorers. Ratings, labels and keywordings is one of the best features of this application. If you use this properly and practice this properly, your files are much organize and easy to find.

    I use Adobe Bridge at home and even in our school. I thank my professors that they introduce us and taught us how to use this application. Imagine, professionals are teaching us what the professional world uses to organize their files. One of my favorite capabilities that Adobe Bridge can do is the Camera Raw Application, changing the exposures, highlights and themes of a particular image with the use of special features and settings. I didn't knew that you can edit and change your photos or images in different ways. Well, experimentations will do to it.

    As i finished this blog and to think that i have many followers, i recommend that you use the Adobe Bridge application now. Organize your files and find your files now. As your files getting bigger, practice organizing it.

Blog 1: "3 Years to go!"

 Sometimes i ask myself why did i study again. Even i just finished a course and actually wear a black toga. Well, it one of my reason is, it is just a 2 year vocational course. Then my sister asked me if i want to study again. It cost a lot of time to think if i want to study again or to work. I think, if i work, the salary i get is too low than if i finished a 4 year degree course. Then, i chose a course i think will fit on what i need.

 At first, i think if i study again the knowledge i got in terms of computer is my advantage. Multimedia Arts is very exciting course. But having an art in my mind is a challenge to me. Designs are not made easily. It consist a lot of power to think what kind of art will do.

 When i got my Personal Computer how i thank God in what he give to me. And also thanks to my mother and siblings that they gave their money to me to buy that computer. So i train myself how to manage applications in terms of my course.

 Minor subjects are one important tasks that i conquered hahaha! It is so hard that it is like major subjects. Well, i will try my best to succeed all of my subjects this new school new year. God is one my strength. Always praying ang moral support from my family is all my strength.

 Last vacation, i am so busy i thought i will have my longest sleep all day but it wasn't. My brothe bought a mountain bike and i start biking. I go everywhere, any place and even far places. I do it everyday. One of my friend ask me to go to a fitness gym and i think this is good for my body if i go their everyday. Then, i try. It so hard at first but now it is not hard at all. Well i just think that it is for my self.

 And that was my 1 year of being an MMA student. Always exciting and fun. Just always being God-centered.

Blog 8: 20th Century Art

                Distortion and the traditional subject matter, these are the characteristics of this art period. Cubism plays a big part to this period too. Why cubism has a great part of this period?

                There are many types of cubism such as analytic cubism which has a trick of 3d effect illusion and synthetic cubism which cutouts of materials such as newspapers and magazine are formed together to form an art. At this period, sculpture artists are so great that the cubism style is applied to this type of art. If you can imagine cubism is only applied for painting and now it is applied to sculpture. And has different and great meaning. I think synthetic cubism in terms of painting is transformed to constructivism were such great artists made some of these.

                Many artworks are questioned because of their meanings and the medium that they used. Well, for me an artist must have unlimited ideas to get an unlimited art outputs but despite of that I think unlimited boundaries must consider.

Blog: 7 Modern Art

         Yet, Modern Art has changes between spaces and ideas. As the time goes by, the curiosity of artists are lavishly increasing. So, they have thought many ideas on how to improve or on to being different. This blog contains my favorite painting and sculpture of this time. I’ve included some of their characteristics.

          The Oath of Horatii, as you can see, compared to past the clearness of the particular painting is very good. The background emphasizes the mood of what is happening and the detail of the clothes, body and skins of the men are clearly done.

          Pauline Borghese as Venus, the clearness of the face is made fabulously it’s more like a real face. And what actually annoy me are the detail of the dress and the foam of the chair whom she is seated. It does not actually look like a sculpture.

          The evolution of the art on this period is so wonderful. Unlimited ideas for the artists are the best. Just by keep thinking and experimenting. You can be different.

Blog 6: Art Beyond The West

Religions, this is the main matter to this kind of art. Buddha enlightens his followers he is kind and simple. Preaching and talking to everyone represents as him. I remember a figurine of a golden Buddha smiling and raising his arm while sitting. I felt happy because the Chinese tradition is great, they pray for Buddha and wishes good lucks. I’m so annoyed with his ear because he has a big tunnel, so in the past many males are wearing earrings, is that what represents his standings in a society?

                The Hindu tradition encourages Hindus to seek spiritual and moral truth whenever it might be found. Enlightment play a big part to this tradition.

                Well, for me respect is the attitude we must not forget. We know that faith in what we believe is really important in our life. As the judgment day arises we must not forget our God in what he will do to us.

Blog 5: STRAIGHT AS BAROQUE

Motion, drama, tension, detail and grandeur these are the characteristics of a baroque art. For me this the perfect art type because of the details. Compared to other types, this type is very intense and realistic. The artists that make this kind of art are very great and I know it is very hard to this.

                Below is my own rendition of baroque art. He is one of my cats. As you can see he is yawning and that represents motion. I’ve added some effects to represent details. The photo I’ve taken is very rare to do that kind of shot because if you think carefully you can’t actually do that kind of shot that represents the grandness of the photo or simply grandeur. Motion is what happens on him; actually he sleeping and when I called him and look at me then he yawned and stretch her body.

Blog 4: Renaissance - A rebirth.

This period is very important to us. This is the most challenging way by means of paintings, sculpture and architecture. The superiority of the Greek and Roman period was originated by the belief of the Europeans. The Renaissance was marked by an intense interest in the visible world and in the knowledge derived from concrete sensory experience.

Progress is made realistic through paintings and sculptures. In architectural forms, like the cathedrals, the principles of geometry and mathematics are applied. The sculpture for example, the David of Donatello, Michelangelo, Verrocchio and Donatello are being compared. The perfect word for this is the competition. This is the trademark of the Renaissance period.

For me, the time of this period is very good because the growth of arts in this period grows is rapid. Renaissance arts is important on what we the generation of arts today.

Blog 3: The Truth (Christian Art)

How Jesus Christ is began? Why there are many evidences in the first century that explains how Jesus Christ lives? The main peak of this is the Bible. Without the bible there are no paintings, sculptures and architectural forms in the past Rome and in the present, how we Christians today.

Jesus Christ is true. That’s the answer why the early Christians promote in any terms of Christianity in beginning. Even when Emperor Constantine is not yet became an emperor. The Christians kept their loyalty as Christians by making small chapels, catacombs and as well as Cathedrals. They treated as barbaric or cult members because early emperors want all the people to be treated emperors as Gods. But when Constantine became an emperor, he legalized the religion of Christian. Then so it began. They build different Cathedrals in Rome. Different styles and arts are hooked on this.

                As to present the different evidences like Cathedrals is preserved. It is very important to us not to ignore or forget how our religion began. Thanks to Constantine, thanks to early Christian people, and also thanks to all evidences that Jesus Christ is true. We must not forget them.

                In any matter, I have born as a pure Christian. But getting straight I want to change my religion to Iglesia Ni Cristo. Why? Because they are so disciplined and determined to their religion comparing to Christian religion. I think most of my friends know me as a “standard” person. But in this case I would not rely on that. I don’t care what they say; it’s a free country in any way. I just have to prove that I fit in this religion. Now I am taking the “Doktrina” process (the first way to be an Iglesia Ni Cristo).

                Just depend on the bible. Follow what it says. Even you are not always attending to church. Pray and always thank God on what you wish and what you receive. Thank you.

Blog 2: Classical Art

Classic, Classical, and Classicism, terms describing the style, historical period, or quality of a work of art, literature, or music; the terms originally were associated with the aesthetic achievements of the ancient Greek and Roman civilizations. However, they have come to have much broader meanings and applications.

Greek Gods has the most roles to this period; they applied in paintings and architectural forms. I am very amazed to the Colloseum in Rome. It can accommodate 50,000 people. If you carefully think on it, that time is 1^st century. What medium did they use? How they are made? Did they have machineries big trucks to carry the stones? It is really amazing.

This period is the great foundation of Greek art. I hope that art forms in this period are well preserve.
